Week 9 Blog Challenge

This week for the blog challenge we were writing about yourself in 10 years time. There were 6 questions to answer. 1. I will be____ Years old. 2. I will be working as a_________. 3. my biggest achievement will be_______. 4. Me In 10 years time Draw a picture. 5. I will still be friends with_________________. And Place's I have visited will be_____________. It Was very fun because you had to work out how old you will be in 10 years If you will still have the same friends in 10 years time. it was also fun because you did not waste your time on it it was helping you learn and is very Interesting.

Tennis ball Tower challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws,
and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand
alone (not leaning on anything or needing support.

Today I worked with Kiarna And Maia

At first, we had trouble with Well to be honest nothing was really that hard Because I am kind of
an export at making towers to hold stuff.

The easiest thing was Making the base because We only used paper and tape for it.

The best part of our tower was the Tennis Queen. The reason why we had a Tennis Queen was that
One part of the tower had a seat looking shape so we said why not put a little Person sitting there.

Our tower looked like the boat that swing's at the amusement park.

In the end, our tower could basically hold anything except for very heavy and big things.

Synthesis Eggs (dinosaurs)

This week for our reading challenge was Writing and reading about Dinosaurs. you had to write what you already know, What Your read in the text, and your new understanding. I found out a lot about dinosaurs that I did not know. I liked it very much and can't wait for next week's activity.

Blog challenge

This week for our whetu blog challenge we had to write about our pet or if you didn't have a pet you would have to either write about your dream pet or and pet that past away. I write about my aunties pet because she is very close to my and my family. Her Name Is Bailey and she is a brown labrador. Here Is a Photo of her.

Sick Sentences

This week Whetu did a Writing challenge It was could sick sentences. What you had to do was fix up the sick sentences. There was the start of the sentence and then you had to finish the sentence. I think my sick sentences are a supernova because I took my time and was creative with my work. I would differently do this again because it is fun and helps you learn.

week 8 maths mystery

This week for the Maths mystery we had to solve who the naughty Gnome was. I worked with Lola B and I would defiantly work with her again because whenever I answered a question and It was right she would say Good Job High Five. So she made me happy and want to work harder. Lola and I think that the culprit is Captain steve. We made up a Joke and It goes like this, Knock Knock, Who's there, Cap, Cap who, Captain steve. The reason why it says cap is because captain steve was wearing a cap.

Whetu Catapult Challenge

Overall I think that The most challenging part was not using a hot glue gun because the rubber bands kept breaking.

The things that I used to make my catapult were: 15X Rubber bands, 8X Sticks, and 1 Spoon.

To make my catapult I worked with Jai and Chrysler to mix up boys, Girls, year 5's, and year 6's.

Our catapult was better at going far then high because of our spoon brook when we were trying to squeeze it in.
