Whetu Catapult Challenge

Overall I think that The most challenging part was not using a hot glue gun because the rubber bands kept breaking.

The things that I used to make my catapult were: 15X Rubber bands, 8X Sticks, and 1 Spoon.

To make my catapult I worked with Jai and Chrysler to mix up boys, Girls, year 5's, and year 6's.

Our catapult was better at going far then high because of our spoon brook when we were trying to squeeze it in.

Week 7 Maths Mystery. The missing story ending

This week I did the Maths Mystery challenge. The Maths Mystery was to work out who stole the story ends. I think I got the answer right because I took my time reading the questions and answering them. There were 5 clues. Each one was different. Once you got your answer you would write down your Answer and name on a sticky note and put it in the black box with gold and silver stars on it then on Friday the teacher picks one out and whoever person she picks out they get a starburst.

Onomatopoeia sentences

This week our class had a writing challenge the challenge was to write four Onomatopoeia sentences. My sentences were, Twang when the wood from a karate chop, Whoosh goes the hairdryer blowing my hair and then Splat the hairdryer stops, Boom went the gun shooting a duck, And Slam went the door on a windy day. I think my work is a supernova because I used my creativity and thinking to make my sentences amaze my teachers.

Nothing to do

Hi Mrs Kennedy or any other Teachers if your reading I Just got bored so I said to my self why not write a blog post. I decided to write about, Well You have to read more to find out soo lets get started. At school when we come Inside from playing or Jump Jam or anything like that we have to hand sanitizers your hands or wash your hands, I choose to, well I am kind of in the middle between it. we also have been going in our homeroom spaces so we spread out more to keep our distance. The teachers also got us these little notebooks so we can write what we plan on doing that day and once you finish it you tick it off. Ok now can you guess what I write about? If you did then comment your answer.

Emoji blog challenge

This week whetu had an Emoji blog challenge what you had to do was create your own emoji that hasn't been created or you can make an emoji that is different from one that has been created Because it is all about your creativity and your thinking not about copying and getting it done first. But to the fun part my emoji, what emoji I decided to make was a MacDonald happy meal I think my emoji is a supernova because I drew the drink, chicken nuggets, chips, and the happy meal box. The only things that kind of look like the real things are the happy meal box and the chips. I am soo happy about my work.

Week One Reflection

Week 1 Reflection

What has been my highlight this week was meeting my friends after a long 7 weeks well for me it was 2 MONTHS

What was I nervous about this week was going on a parade throw town where people were filming us witch was embarrassing.

For dress up day I dressed up as a panda with my panda jersey that I got from china when we went to go see the pandas.

The funniest thing has happened this week was when I came back in the classroom and I slipped on the lino and people started saying oh.

I think the best dressed person was Mr Kyle because he dressed up as a girl with a dress yellow long hair and makeup.

Fabulous Finish

For my Fabulous Finish, I made character puppets. I made Peter, Fudge, Mrs & Mr Hatcher. I made Mrs & Mr Hatcher out of cardboard and sharpies, Peter out of Fabric, Cardboard & sharpies, And Fudge out of A paper bag, Cardboard, And Sharpies. The funny thing about fudge is his face looks very weird.

Milk bottle creation

For my milk bottle creation, I made two ball catchers one Looks like an Aline and the other Just has colorful tape around it. I also made them different by attaching one ball by string and one ball with no string. The hardest part was cutting the milk bottle in half And the easiest part was Decorating the milk bottles. I worked with no one But I sat next to Scarlett and Jordenlee. I am PROUD of my work.
